Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
PewPew Uploader ("the tool") is a private program used only by the owner of the YouTube channel PewPew Dota2 to publish and track the channel's own videos. This policy explains what data the tool accesses and what it does with it. Contact: pewpew.yt.dota2@gmail.com.
YouTube API Services
The tool uses YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy (http://www.google.com/policies/privacy).
What the tool accesses
The channel owner signs in with Google (OAuth) and grants two permissions for the owner's own channel:
- Manage YouTube videos (
youtube.force-ssl): to upload the owner's videos, set their thumbnails, titles, descriptions and publish times, and read their processing and privacy status. - View YouTube Analytics reports (
yt-analytics.readonly): to read the channel's own aggregated statistics.
The data used is limited to the owner's own channel: the channel's ID and title; the channel's own videos (titles, descriptions, tags, privacy status, publish times, view, like and comment counts); and aggregated daily reports (views, watch time, subscribers gained and lost). The tool does not access data about individual viewers, commenters or any other Google account.
How the data is used
- To upload and schedule the owner's videos and confirm that they were processed and published.
- To show the owner a private statistics dashboard: which videos, days and publish times perform best.
Where the data is stored
- The Google sign-in token and the statistics history are stored only on the owner's own computer, in local files and a local database.
- A summary of the channel's aggregated statistics is copied into the owner's private dashboard, a page on claude.ai (Anthropic) that only the owner can open. It contains channel-level figures and the owner's own video titles and counts, nothing about viewers.
- Statistics are refreshed regularly; figures are not kept unrefreshed for more than 30 days.
Sharing
The data is not sold, rented or shared with anyone, and is not used for advertising. Apart from Google (which provides the data) and the private dashboard host named above, no third party receives it.
Revoking access and deletion
Access can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page: https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. After access is revoked, or on request to the contact address above, the stored token and the statistics obtained through YouTube API Services are deleted within 7 days.
Cookies
This website uses no cookies, analytics or trackers.
Changes
If the tool's use of data changes, this page is updated and its date changed.
